Payroll Enhancements:

Payroll Processing in Smaller Batches: In a vital enhancement to the payroll module, payroll can now be processed in smaller, manageable batches. This is particularly useful for large organizations, allowing them to run payroll for specific batches classified under different OUs, such as Departments, Sub-companies, or Divisions, with separate attendance cycles, enabling faster payroll runs and reducing system load for large datasets.
 

Navigate to Admin Section > Payroll > View Run Payroll. Select the applicable Organizational Unit from the Payroll group dropdown and click on Get List to manually select employees for batch runs based on the attendance cycle. Alternatively, download the employee list, filter it, and re-upload via the Upload Employees List button to create customized batches.

 

• Annual View of Allowances in CTC Register: The CTC Register now shows the annual value for each allowance component in a separate sheet, CTC Register - Annual, making it easier for the user to understand the total yearly compensation at a glance. This section also includes the annual values for the statutory deductions like PF, ESIC, etc.
  
  
  
   
• Deduction heads added to CTC Register and CTC Master: The CTC Master downloaded from the Admin Section > Manage Employees > Assign CTC Structure > Download CTC Master) and the CTC Register downloaded from the Admin Section > Payroll > View and Run Payroll > Registers and Checklists) now include additional columns to capture deductions such as LIC premium, Health Insurance.
   
• Enhanced Voucher Payment Register: Users can now access voucher payment records from the start of the current financial year up to the present month, within the Admin section > Payroll > Registers and Checklists eliminating the need to open each month's records individually.
   
• By default, March Investment settings locked: The setting "Always Consider Actual Investments for March Payroll" will now always stay enabled by default. The related investment setting toggle has been disabled to restrict manual changes. Thus, March payroll will always consider actual proof of investments.

Other Enhancements:

• Timesheet Report with Timestamp: Timesheet Reports module updated to include records with Timestamps, capturing the exact date and time employees created their timesheets.
  
  
• Manage Asset enhancement: For better user convenience, the Asset Master has been moved to the Organization module: Company Assets can be easily added and updated using single or bulk upload options under the Admin Section > Organization > Assets. 

Once added the assets can be assigned to employees under Admin section > Manage Employees > Assign Assets.

• Daily Logs Report enhancement: Daily Logs (Beta) Report now displays Attendance Remarks, allowing admins to quickly identify late-ins, early-outs, missed punches and other exceptions.
