Payroll Enhancements
- Income Tax Detail Report specifically for Resigned Employees: To facilitate better tracking of tax details of employees who have exited the organization, we have developed an Income Tax Detail Report specifically for Resigned employees. This report can be accessed through the Admin section under Payroll > View/Run Payroll > Statutory Reports > Income Tax Detailed Report > Download dropdown.
- Revamped Manage Assign CTC page for better usability: The Manage Assign CTC page has undergone significant improvements in performance for faster uploads and page refreshes.
- Yearly eTDS Report changes for Resigned employees: We have implemented validations in the eTDS Yearly Report to accommodate Resigned employees, ensuring accurate tax reporting and compliance with statutory regulations for all employees who exited in the current financial year.
- Select All domain Option in the Payroll report in the Master Dashboard: Now, the domain admins can download the payroll reports for all the domains combined in one single report through the Master Dashboard.
- Auto copy over of Provisional Investments to Approved Investments: To simplify the auditing process for Admins/HR Heads, a new copy-over option has been added on the Admin section > Payroll Utilities > Investments > Employee Investments > Deductions > House Rent paid to the Landlord. This feature allows the provisional amounts entered by employees to be automatically copied to the approved amount, eliminating the need for manual entry.
Note: This option will be only available if Actual Investments (With Proof) option is enabled under the Investment Settings. - For better convenience in managing resigned employees’ data, The FNF register for the current month can now be generated in the same format as the Salary Register. It can be accessed via: Admin Section > Payroll > View Run Payroll > Registers & Checklists > Checklists > Salary Register > All FNF Employees dropdown.
- Details for Statutory Deduction components such as PF Capped, PF Uncapped, and ESIC are now included in the Increment Report when assigned to an employee as part of their CTC.
- The enhanced Loan register now provides details of Pre Payment / Top Up of Loan Amounts and EMI details. The same can be accessed from the Admin Section > Payroll > View Run Payroll > Registers & Checklists > Registers > Loan Register.
- The recent tax updates to the new regulations for the current Financial Year 2025-26 have been implemented, along with the necessary changes to the online Tax Calculator.
Report Section Enhancements
- Consolidated Attendance report added: For an overall view of the Daily Attendance Status, Summary view, and Regularization Request details; a single, comprehensive Consolidated Attendance Report has been added to the Attendance Module Reports.
- Live Tracking Report: For a secure and insightful view of the workforce in real-time, The Live Tracking Report Beta has been added under the Attendance section Reports. Location tracking is typically opt-in or role-based, with clear guidelines on data usage and retention. The aim is to enhance productivity and coordination.
- Organizational Unit (OU) dropdown introduced in the Team Section for improved filtering: To help the Reporting Managers to efficiently filter employees' data within the reports, the OU filters have now been added to the Team Section Reports, similar to those available in the Admin Section Reports.
Enhanced control
- Restriction Access Control implemented across all reports for enhanced data security: Restriction Access Control has been implemented across all reports to enhance data security and access to information on a need-to-know basis. This ensures that users can access only the reports relevant to their role or sub-role, preventing unauthorized data visibility.
- Employee Number Updation now requires a password for added security: Employee Number Updation now requires password authentication, ensuring only the domain administrators can make changes and prevent unauthorized modifications. This feature can be enabled from the Organization > Access Control, This can be set from Utilities > Set Password option.
- Proxy Regularization tab added in the Team Section for better attendance management: The Proxy Regularization tab has been added to the Team Section to enable supervisors to apply attendance regularization on behalf of their team members.
ESS Enhancements
- Document Attachment feature added in Bank Information: The document attachment feature has been added to the Bank Information section under the Employee Profile, allowing employees to upload a supporting Bank Passbook or canceled cheque.
Timesheet Enhancements
- New Timesheet request page added under Admin Approval Requests: A new Timesheet Request page has been added under Admin Section> Approval Requests, allowing admins to efficiently review and manage timesheet submissions of their teams.
- Attendance linking with timesheet: To ensure accurate work tracking and compliance, the Attendance Module is now linked with the Timesheet Module. If an employee has not filled in their Timesheet for the previous day, they will be restricted from punching in their Attendance for the current day. The restriction can be enabled from the Organization > Organization Details > Miscellaneous >Timesheet > Restrict to Punch In tab.
Roost Enhancements
- Option to add Bi-weekly/Weekly recurring tasks: An option to add Weekly and Bi-Weekly Recurring Tasks has been introduced in the Roost Module in addition to the existing Monthly and Quarterly options. This can be found under the Employee Section > Roost > Add Task.
- In order to efficiently manage the internal Task management process, the Assignment Option has been added to the Roost Module which allows organizations to delegate complex project requirements more effectively. Assignments created in the Organization Module can now be linked to specific tasks based under the Roost > Add Task and assigned to applicable employees.
- The Roost Summary Beta report has been added to the Reports section for faster fetching of employees’ task details. This can be accessed under the Admin section > Reports > Roost.
Updation to Master files
- Column Names as per Profile Configuration in Bulk Upload Employee Master: Column Names in the Bulk Upload Employee Master file now align with the Profile Configuration, ensuring consistency and reducing manual adjustments during bulk uploads of employee data.
- Middle Name Relation column Added in Employee Master Report: The Middle Name and Relation columns have been added to the Employee Master Report.
- Bulk Upload option introduced for Email & Aadhaar details: A Bulk Upload option has been introduced for Email & Aadhaar details, enabling faster data updates.
Other Enhancements
- Attachment option in Announcement section: An Attachment Option has been added to the Announcement Module, allowing the organizations to upload and share relevant documents, images, or files along with announcements for better communication and information sharing.
- Restriction implemented to prevent duplicate Aadhaar entries in Employee Profile and Bulk Upload: To prevent erroneous entries in employee records, a restriction has been implemented to prevent duplicate Aadhaar entries while updating the Employee Profile.
- Annual rent breakup added in tax projection: For better clarity to employees claiming HRA Exemption, the annual rent breakup table has been added to the Tax Projection Report.
