Multiple Letters Generation

The Teamnest portal has released an advanced feature that enables the organization to generate multiple letter structures within the same Letter Type. E.g. an organization can have one structure for an Appointment Letter for Sales Staff and a different Appointment Letter structure for the IT staff. This is particularly beneficial for organizations that require distinct document formats across various departments.

Payroll Management

Employee with No Investment Report

For stronger controls of the Admins and auditor, the portal now provides a comprehensive list of employees who have not filled out their Investment Declarations.

This report can be accessed from the Admin Section > Payroll Utilities > Investments.

Gratuity Report Enhancements

The Gratuity Report for employees now reflects the rounded-off “Years of Service” as per statutory regulations as well as the actual “Years of Service” and the corresponding accumulated Gratuities.

This will now serve as a guide to pay applicable Gratuities for Separation employees as well as for Actuarial valuations.

Single Payslip and Tax Computation PDF download

Enhancing accessibility, the Payslips and Tax Computations, when downloading for one employee, is now downloaded in PDF format, moving away from the Zip format.

Tax Calculator Updates

For added convenience, the fields in the Tax Calculator now dynamically get pre-filled according to the Provisional Investments submitted by the Employee. This saves the employee the time and effort to fill it manually. When the actual Proofs setting is enabled in Investment settings (usually in Q4), the calculator will pre-fill the amounts based on the Actual Investment amounts approved by the auditors.

Employee Grid

Organization Details in the ‘Add New Employee’ window

To simplify the addition of employees to the portal, the Employee Grid now provides an option to directly assign various organizational units such as Designation, Department, Location, Division, and Reporting Manager to the employee from the Employee Grid itself, eliminating the need to update this from the profile section separately.

Middle Name added in Employee Grid

The Employee Grid and the Employee Master Report now provide an option to reflect the Employee Middle name. This can be activated in the Miscellaneous Section of Organization Details.

Bulk Document Download

Administrators can now download multiple documents from the Employee Grid at one go under a single window.

Email Notification on Confirmation Rejection

Employees will receive immediate email notifications if their event of Confirmation (from Probation) is rejected, ensuring transparency and prompt feedback.

Employee Profile

Upload supporting documents in the Bank information field

This helps employees upload supporting documents like a scanned copy of the passbook or a canceled cheque into the system.

Assign Pension exemption

In the Employee Profile Section > Miscellaneous > Payroll, now the Pension Exemption applicability can be set for employees for whom contribution to the Employers Pension Scheme (EPS) is exempt.

Reports Section

Customizable Report Columns

The Reports from the Admin and Team Section now feature the option to customize the output columns to restrict the data that is shared through downloads and e-mails.

Current Day Attendance with Breaks

This report now reflects the Actual Working Time and Total working Time for a better understanding of employees' shift-wise attendance.

Attendance Summary Report 

The report now displays details related to Optional and Floating Holidays.

Other Improvements

Restricting Regularization

The current day’s Attendance Regularization is restricted if the Shift is not completed or attendance is not closed, to maintain data consistency.

Restriction on back-dated Leave Cancellation

The portal now empowers the organization to restrict back-dated leave cancellation for approved leaves to ensure employee discipline and adherence to company policies.

UAN Number column added to Salary Register

The Salary Register now reflects the employee's UAN Number.

Validation added for incorrect File size

Now, across the portal, we have provided an error message of the acceptable file size limit when an uploaded file exceeds the permitted size.

Mobile App (Languages / Device Restriction)

We have improved our language offerings to ensure our mobile app is more accessible and user-friendly for several vernacular languages. Also, we have enhanced the Device restriction feature that can limit an employee to just a single device only (i.e. one login, one mobile) ensuring fair attendance marking.

Candidate Access

To protect sensitive data, we have curbed the access for Candidates to the Profile Section for filling out personal details, the Roost module for tasks, and the Letter Section in My Folder.

Offshore Employee Email Alerts

Our tailored email alert system now sends notifications to Offshore employees for all regular events like applying for Attendance Regularisations, Leaves, and Supervisor Approvals.
