Restricted Access Control
This new feature allows you to control sensitive organizational data by defining specific rights (Read and Write or Read-Only) for individual Administrators/HR Managers based on Organisational Units like Designation, Division, Department, Sub-Company, and Cost Centre. This feature limits access to only authorized personnel for every module. For instance, access to Payroll can be restricted to an HR Manager who processes salaries, or Attendance and Leave for Rajasthan can be made visible only to the Admin handling the Rajasthan division.
You can find this feature in the Admin Section > Organisation > Access Control > Restriction Settings.
Downloaded Reports in the Payroll Module
Payroll Managers can now download payroll reports in the background while completing their other tasks in TeamNest. Run the reports you need and continue working on other sections. You can access the reports once their status reflects as Completed in the Downloaded Reports section. This feature is currently available for the Salary Register, CTC Register, and Salary Plus CTC Register. Processing these registers has been optimized to deliver these reports to you in a fraction of the time it used to take earlier.
You can find this feature under Admin Section > Downloaded Reports.

Payroll Module
Voucher Payment Validation
This validation restricts duplicate voucher entries for the same Employee, Payment Date, and Payment Head combinations in case of manual addition or updation of vouchers.
Vouchers can be updated from Payroll > Miscellaneous > Voucher Payment > Add Single Voucher option.
Resignation Date Inclusion in CTC Report
Resignation dates of employees resigning within the current payroll month are now included in the CTC Report, ensuring full-set reporting for all employees whose payroll has been processed in the current month.
Pension Exemption option in Bulk Upload
To reduce manual work, the Pension Exemption applicability can now be updated through the Bulk Upload Employee Master template.
Total Deduction Column in Salary Registers
For greater clarity on the total amount Deducted (Statutory + Non-Statutory Deductions) in salary, now both the Salary and Salary plus CTC Register include a Total Deductions column.
Investment Bulk Upload File Updates
For better convenience of the Administrators and Investment Auditors, the ‘Perquisites on Others’ column has been added to the Bulk Upload Investment Declaration and Bulk Upload Investment with Proof files for quicker updates.
Optimized Salary Register
With our recent optimizations, downloading data for a large set of say 5,000 employees from the Salary Register now takes almost less than a minute. We will continue to optimize other reports available in the Payroll module.

Our recent process optimizations have improved the Payroll processing speed to 5 times faster.

Profile Section
Centralized Document Access
Employees can now access all their uploaded documents in the Profile section easily under My Folder > Personal Documents.
Bank Information Upload
Employees can now upload supporting documents for their bank information, such as scanned copies of passbooks or canceled cheques, directly under My Profile > Miscellaneous > Bank.
CIBIL and RCU
The "Other Document Details" section within "Employee Profile > Miscellaneous" now allows employees to upload their CIBIL and RCU reports, enabling employers to upload their credit scores and risk assessments.
Joining Date Restriction
Organizations can now set limits for future joining dates when adding candidates or employees, individually as well as through bulk upload.
This feature is accessible through the Admin Section > Organisation > Organisation Details > Miscellaneous > Employee Setting > Restriction for Date of Joining field.
Restricted Access for Incomplete Employee Profiles
To encourage employees to fill their complete information on the Profile Configuration page, their access can be restricted to the dashboard and to mark attendance only, if they do not fill the mandatory fields in their profiles. All other modules are locked in such instances.
This feature can be enabled by activating the Restrict Access option in the ‘If Profile is Incomplete’ field appearing under Organisation Details > Miscellaneous.
Mandatory Field Validation in Bulk Upload
The mandatory field validations defined in the Profile Configuration Page now apply to the Employee Master Bulk upload option as well. If fields set as Mandatory in the Profile Configuration page are not added to the Employee Master template, the portal will prompt an error in the Bulk Upload Employee Master page.
