We are pleased to share this month’s product enhancements across Payroll, Attendance, and Platform optimizations, aimed at improving usability and functionality, reflecting our ongoing commitment to delivering a seamless user experience.
Payroll Enhancements
Year-to-Date (YTD) Payslips: With this update, if an employee resigns in mid-year (e.g., in January) and the FFS has been processed, their April–December payslips, along with the January FFS slip, will be available in a single click.
This can be accessed under Admin Section > Payroll > View Run Payroll > Registers and Checklists > Registers.
Work Type Added in Tax Projection & Income Tax Detail Report: Employee Work Type is now displayed in both the Tax Projection and Income Tax Detail reports, as it directly impacts tax calculations. This enhancement ensures better alignment with applicable tax rules for different employment types (e.g., Full-time, Contract, Professional, etc.)
Loan Perquisite Calculation: If the Loan’s sanctioned date is in the future but the Loan has been sanctioned in the current financial year, the applicable perquisite will be calculated based on the prevalent interest rate. This ensures that tax on loan-related benefits is applied accurately based on the sanction date.
Sub-Companies Column (added in Payroll Reports): Payroll Reports now display sub-company details, enhancing data segmentation for organizations with multiple business entities under a single domain.
HRA Exemption Calculations now can consider repayment days of previous months: Now, HRA exemptions will be calculated based on any number of adjustment days paid for previous months, ensuring these days are also considered for computing HRA Exemptions.
CTC Master Download: Admins can now extract the CTC Master file filtered by employee status (e.g., Active, On Hold, Resigned, etc.) for focused data analysis. This can be accessed under Admin Section > Manage Employees > Assign CTC Structures > Download CTC Master tab.
Tax Computation (Beta): This report can be downloaded in one go for all employees irrespective of the number of employees. Previously there was a restriction of a batch size of 100. The progress can be viewed under Downloaded Reports allowing you to continue your work without interruption while this downloads in the background. The download process is unaffected by page closure or session termination.
Improved Attendance Management
The newly added ’Latest record’ filter is now accessible under the Admin and Team section views of the Live Location Tracking (Beta) Report, this filter helps administrators, and team leads view the most recent location updates (last known location for that day) for field-based employees, improving oversight, and real-time coordination.
The Daily Status, Consolidated Attendance, and Attendance Summary reports (Beta) have been revamped with improved load times and an updated UI experience.
Bulk Attendance Regularization under Proxy: This Bulk Regularization data can now be uploaded, in one batch, directly via the portal making the process of large sets of requests for Proxy Regularization faster and more accessible for the Reporting Managers and HR/Admins.
Platform-Wide Upgrades
Assign Asset page Revamp: The Assign Asset page has been revamped with improved filtering, quick search, and direct options to add, update assets — enabling faster and more efficient asset assignment and returns.
Payment Details - Employee Wise Report: The report enables you to view and analyze specific allowances/deductions that have been paid to employees for the current financial year. This can be accessed from: Admin section > Payroll > Registers and Checklists > Registers > Payment Details - Employee Wise Report.
Generic Reimbursement Slip: Admins can now download a detailed Reimbursement Slip that includes Reimbursement Components with Applicable Rates, Opening Balance, Entitlement Amount, Passing Amount, Current Bills, Closing Balance, and Bills Carried Forward from the previous cycle—providing a clear and complete summary of employee claims and payments. These can be uploaded to the portal so that employees can view and understand their respective reimbursement payouts.
Download and Mail FFS Slip & Tax Computation to Exit Employees: Since the official email id of exit employees are deactivated, Admins / HRs can download and send the Full & Final Settlement Slip along with Tax Computation details directly to the exit employee’s personal (alternate) email ID from the Admin section > Payroll > Register/Checklists.
Annexure to Form16: To simplify and centralize the management of supplementary tax documentation for employees, the Admins can generate and upload Annexure to Form16 directly via the Admin Section > Payroll Utilities. This serves as detailed notes to Form 16 by providing Allowance-wise amounts that add up to the Gross and also details of Section 10 exemptions.
Designation Column added to the Increment File: In case an employee receives a Promotion along with the increment / appraisal, the new Designation can be added to the Increment file so that this is updated along with the appraised CTC through a common file.
