New Features & Developments
Taking a significant step towards empowering our users in the employee letter generation process, the entire set of steps of letter format generation is now automated.
To reduce dependency on our Team while generating various letter formats such as:
- Appointment Letter
- Offer Letter
- Confirmation Letter
- Increment Letter
- Experience Letters, and
- Termination Letter
Now these can be designed and uploaded by your HR Teams on the portal from the Admin section > Organization > Letter Format Tab.
Post uploading, the letters can be directly applied to employees through the relevant Master Policies, and you are done! The Letters can then be generated and downloaded from the Admin Section > Utilities Module > Letters > Generate Letters dropdown.
To meet evolving organizational needs, we have also added the option to generate Miscellaneous Letters such as Warning, Contract, or Employee Abscond Letters. These can be created using the Letter Format Tab and then they can be generated and downloaded from the Generate Letter section in the Utilities Module.
Enhancements
Payroll Module
- Bank Branch Name added in Salary and Salary plus CTC Register:
The Salary Register and Salary plus CTC Register now display the Bank branch names, providing clearer insights into salary payout data. - Added State of PT dropdown in Bulk Upload Employee Master:
For better convenience during the Employee Master data bulk upload process, the "State of PT" dropdown has been added to the Employee Master file. - CTC register Combined Master report for group domains:
In order to a comprehensive view of the payroll data for a group of companies in one report, we have started with the combined CTC Master Report which can be accessed from the Master Admin login for the group domains, In the coming month we shall be extending this feature for other payroll reports as well.
Compliance Module
- Employee Dashboard:
The all-new Compliance Dashboard, available under the Employee Section > Compliance, provides employees with a comprehensive overview of their compliance status for the current financial year. - Employee Workflows:
An enhanced workflow for Makers and Checkers has been released with an option to segregate data access on a need-to-know basis. Compliance users can now easily access Compliance Logs, the status of Compliance Requests, and the Compliance Calendar - all in one convenient window. - Inclusion of a wider set of Acts:
The Compliance Module primarily covered the Statutory Acts of PF, PT, TDS, LWF, and ESIC. Now, the Compliance Module has been enhanced to cover a wider range of Acts such as ROC, MGT, CSR, SBO, etc.
Other Enhancements
- Bypass Leave application restriction in Proxy Leave: The Admin Users can now bypass the Leave application restrictions while managing proxy leave, adding greater flexibility to manage exceptions in the Leave management workflows. This section can be accessed from Admin section > Setup Policies > Leaves > Application Rules.
- Directory display: The Employee Directory now includes Designation and Reporting Manager columns. Administrators can control the visibility of these columns via the Admin Section > Organization > Organization Details > Miscellaneous > Directory Header, offering improved directory customization.
- Character Length Validation for Aadhar, PAN, and UAN Fields: We have implemented some basic validations to ensure accurate character length entries for the Aadhar, PAN, and UAN number fields.
- The limitation of bulk processing up to only 5 Approve/Reject requests at a time for the Attendance, Leave, and Expense Requests section has been removed, enabling larger bulk processing of requests by the Supervisor / HR.
