Have I clocked my expected number of productive hours?
What has been my contribution this week in terms of tasks, projects, and activities?
How much effort has my team put in on a particular client project?
The Timesheet feature enables you to log your daily working hours against a specific Project, Bucket, Assignment, or any other defined category.
These categories are aligned with the Buckets used in Roost for managing tasks and sub-tasks.
For organisations, the Timesheet serves as a tool to record and monitor employee productivity efficiently.
Record a Timesheet
- Go to Employee Section >Timesheet from the left navigation.
- Click on the “Record a Task” button.
- Enter the Timesheet details for the task you want to record.
- You have the option to attach a supporting document, if required.
That’s it. You can continue to record your Timesheets daily for accurate tracking. - The record can be submitted from the Submit For Approval tab by selecting the specific Date or applicable date range for the month.
If your organisation does not require Timesheet entry approval, the Submit for Approval button will not be displayed on the Employee Section > Timesheet page.
Note: In this scenario, the entries will remain in Draft mode.
Mobile App
- Tap on 'Timesheet' on your mobile app Dashboard.
- You will see the default Today view of Timesheet.
- Tap on the ‘Record Task’ button at the bottom of the screen.
- Add your Timesheet record
- Your Timesheet is created.
Now you can submit the timesheet for approval from the request tab for a specific date or a date range.
