For all these reasons, you need to apply for leaves. Vacation Leaves can be applied as Privilege/Earned Leaves well in advance, while medical situations demand you to apply for Sick Leaves retrospectively. Teamnest.com acknowledges this and allows your organization to set leave policies accordingly.

- Go to Employee section > Leaves from the left navigation menu.

- Click on the ‘Apply for Leave’ button on the top right of the page.

The Leave Application form will appear. Fill in the required details:

Select the type of leave you are applying for.

Choose the leave period (from and to dates).

Enter alternate contact information and alternate address (if required by your organisation).

Provide any relevant comments.

Specify the alternate employee to contact during your absence (if applicable).

Upload any supporting documents, if required.
4. Once all details are filled in, click on Submit to apply for leave.

5. Once your leave request is submitted, a notification will be sent to your Reporting Manager for approval.
6. You can monitor the status of your leave application from the ‘Leave Application Status’ tab on the page. Until it has been approved or rejected, the status will be shown as ‘Pending’.
If the leave is approved, you will get a notification. If it is rejected, the reason for rejection will be mentioned. In both cases, the status of the leave request will be updated.

Upon logging in, you will be directed to the Dashboard, where you can view the Leaves icon. Click on the icon to access the Leaves Module.
- The Leaves Dashboard displays the details of your leave types along with the corresponding leave balance for each type.
- To initiate Leave application, tap on the ‘Apply for leave’ button at the bottom of the page.
- Choose the applicable leave type, fill in the necessary information and submit the request.
- Once the leave requested is created. A notification is sent to your Reporting Manager for approval.
- You can monitor the status of your leave application from the Leaves dashboard section of the app.
- Until it has been approved or rejected, the status will be marked as ‘Pending’.
- If the leave is approved, you will get a notification. If it is rejected, the reason for rejection will be mentioned. In both cases, the status of the leave request will be updated.
