In order to streamline the complexities of performance evaluation in organizations, our Performance Management System (PMS) is developed with a people-first approach. The system ensures continuous documentation of measurable work outcomes and performance, enabling a data-driven, balanced, and fair review process for employees.
For Admins and HRs:
Step 1
Setting up the Configuration: The PMS configuration can be set up from the following path:
Admin Section > PMS > Configuration
On the PMS Configuration page click on the Add New Configuration tab:
Add PMS Configuration Page Overview:
On the Add PMS Configuration page, you can set the following details:
- Start Date: Specify the start date of your Organization’s Performance Management cycle.
- End Date: Specify the end date of your Organization’s Performance Management cycle.
- Cycle Frequency: Choose the frequency of your Organization’s Performance Management cycle i.e., Monthly, Quarterly, Half-Yearly, or Yearly.
- Currently Active: Select "Yes" if this configuration is the current cycle for employees. For all other cycles, this should be set to "No."
Once the details are entered, click the Submit button to save the configuration.Note: Please note that while the systems allow creation of multiple PMS configurations, only one configuration can be set as active at any given time.
Step 2
Add KRAs and Competencies: In order to set KRAs and Competencies you can go to: Admin Section > PMS > KRAs & Competencies
The Key Result Areas (KRAs) can be added using two methods:
• Add KRAs individually through the system, or
• Upload multiple KRAs at once using the bulk upload process.
Add Single KRA:
i. This can be done through clicking on the Add KRA tab > Add Single KRA dropdown.
ii. Define the KRA, add Description and click on Submit.
iii. Under each KRA head, the Admin/HR can also define multiple and detailed key responsibilities by clicking on the plus icon.
iv. You can specify the details of the responsibility in the Add Key Responsibility window and click on the Submit button.
Once the Key Responsibilities are added for a KRA, you can repeat the process for the next KRA.
Bulk Upload KRAs:
i. Alternatively, you can also bulk upload the from Admin Section > PMS > Add KRA tab > Bulk Upload KRAs dropdown.
ii. Attach the relevant data using the sample .xlsx format file provided and click on Upload.
Similarly, Competencies and Unit Metrics can be defined using a similar process as KRAs by navigating to the Add Competency and Add Unit Metrics tabs under Admin Section > PMS > KRAs & Competencies.
Step 3:
Assigning KRAs and Competencies: Once set on the portal, the KRAs and Competencies can be assigned to the employees individually or in bulk from the Add KRA tab under the Admin Section > PMS > Assign KRAs section.
Add Single KRA:
Using this option, the Admin/HR can assign KRAs either to a specific Designation or to individual employees.i. After selecting the relevant employees, you can set the Performance cycle, assign the weightage, add the KRAs and their corresponding key responsibilities.
ii. Once completed you can preview the KRA and then click on Submit.
Bulk Assign KRA:
i. Alternatively, you can also Bulk Assign the KRAs to the relevant employees using the Admin Section > PMS > Assign KRAs > Bulk Assign KRAs dropdown.
ii. Attach the relevant data using the sample .xlsx format file provided and click on Upload.
Competencies can also be assigned to employees following a similar set of steps as outlined above steps from the Assign Competencies tab on the Assign KRAs page.
