You will need to group your employees in categories like Departments, Designations, Locations, and so on.
Org Units will help you do this.
TeamNest lets you create your own categories to match your organisation structure. We call them Org Units. Once you create an Org Unit, you can add one or more employees to it.
Creating Org Units
- Go to Admin > Organisation > Org Units
- Click + Add Org Unit
- Enter the Org Unit you want to create. e.g. Designation
- Enter one or more values for this Org Unit e.g. Content Writer, Graphic Designer, AVP, Executive
- Save the form
- You will see the Org Unit has been created, and under it the values for that unit will also be available
- You now need to assign employees to these Org Unit values
- Click on Assign Employees against one of the Org Unit values
- Start typing the names of the employees and select them as they come up. You can assign multiple employees in one go
- Save the form
In this manner, create other Org Units that reflect your organisation structure.
