The Compliance Module has been developed to help keep track of the compliances applicable to your organization and whether submissions and due liabilities have been cleared on time.
- The Compliance Module can be accessed through the Admin Section >> Compliance.
- Go to Admin Section >> Compliance >> Statutory Deductions. Here, you need to set up the various Statutory Deductions applicable to your organization i.e., Provident Fund, ESIC, Profession Tax, Labor Welfare Fund (LWF), and TDS. This is a one-time setup that you need to do. In the case of Profession Tax and LWF, you also need to define the applicable states.
- So, e.g., the screenshot below shows the setup for Profession Tax.
- After the setup is complete, the Due Date for each applicable Compliance will reflect in the Compliance Calendar. Please make a note that this view is a Monthly Calendar view.
- As and when the submission of the Challans towards the due Compliances is complete, the receipts for the same can be updated on the Portal against the applicable entry.
- Click on the entry in the Compliance Calendar for which the Challan needs to be updated. Enter the Filing Date and any Comments and upload the Challan. Click on Submit to save the information.
- Once submitted, the updated Compliance entry will change color from the default orange. If the compliance was completed on time, then the box will turn green. If the compliance was completed after the due date, then the box will turn yellow.
- If there is more than 1 Compliance due on the same day, a link in blue appears for that day to indicate the number of more compliances. Clicking on the link will show the details of the other compliances for that day.
- Any submitted Compliance document can be downloaded by clicking on the respective entry and then clicking on the Download Existing Document.
